Casting and Production Policy

01/01/2024

The website www.remilede.eu is owned by Rémi Ledé SAS, who is a data controller of your personal data. We have adopted this casting and production policy in order to provide a framework for our video production activities, calling on the services of contributors for the editing and production of our videos, consumer marketing content, corporate content and any other video documentary useful to the structure's economic activity. This policy is directly aimed at respecting the rules of image rights and confidentiality of identities, and the protection of individuals, as well as being linked to contracts for extras, whenever we call on a contributor. We take care of your personal data and are committed to guaranteeing its confidentiality and security. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

Article 1 – Diversity and inclusion

We value diversity in all its forms, including ethnicity, gender, age and physical ability. We are committed to offering equal opportunities to all profiles, and we encourage the authentic representation of diversity in our productions.

Article 2 – Amateur and professional talent

We welcome amateur profiles while also seeking experienced professionals for our projects. Amateurs are given appropriate support and training to ensure their smooth integration into our productions.

Article 3 – Open applications

We regularly organize open offers to enable anyone interested to apply, whether as an actor, extra, or specialist in a specific field (e.g. dance, martial arts, etc.). Applications are based on company needs, screen presence, suitability for the role, creative ability or willingness to challenge oneself. Generally, our applications are made 1 or 2 months in advance, to enable all parties involved to define the organization and man/field logistics.

Article 4 – Skills assessment and profiles

Each candidate is assessed for skills relevant to the project, or for behavioral needs related to the project. Whether it's acting, technical skills, a particular mental or physical character or any other aspect required for the production, the selection criteria are regularly adjusted according to the company's needs. In other words, a candidate X may be perfect for a role in production A, but not at all so for production B. Which would be better suited to a candidate Y.

Article 5 – Creative collaboration

We encourage creative collaboration by involving our talents in the character and script development process, while respecting the general guidelines of the project. To do this, we send the script to our selected candidates for their review. But in the case of ideation, the company is always ready to make corrections if necessary.

Article 6 – Production conditions

Casting candidates who are assigned a role in one of our productions benefit from clear contracts (remunerative or volunteer) specifying their remuneration, image rights, benefits and any other project-specific conditions, depending on the nature of the project and their overall contribution.

Article 7Safety and well-being

We place great importance on the safety and well-being of our employees. We implement safety measures on film sets and offer a respectful and inclusive working environment. Likewise, each person who applies to Rémi Ledé SAS benefits from a Candidate Area where general and specific training is provided, giving them a comprehensive idea of the media world and the rules to adopt in the course of a working day.

Article 8 – Support and training

Candidates receive personalized support and training sessions to improve their technical and artistic skills. We encourage continuous professional development and regularly update our training courses to keep up to date with our obligations.

Article 9Respecting schedules

We adhere to the shooting schedules agreed with the participants, ensuring efficient time management to optimize the quality of the final product while respecting everyone's commitments. To this end, all parties involved in our productions automatically receive service sheets that outline their rights, duties and obligations during shooting days. This sheet serves as an official document for the organization, but does not constitute a contract.

Article 10Transparent communication

We maintain transparent communication with all stakeholders in our projects, including stakeholders, keeping them informed of project progress, any changes, and listening to their feedback to continuously improve our production practices.

Article 11Image rights

We attach the utmost importance to respecting the image rights of our contributors. Prior to any participation in our productions, each contributor (whether amateur or professional) signs an agreement consenting to the use of his or her image within the specific framework of the project in question. This agreement clearly specifies the rights of use of the image, including distribution, promotion and exploitation of the content within the limits defined by the contract.

Article 12Confidentiality and privacy

We guarantee the confidentiality of sensitive information and respect the privacy of our participants. Any content that could compromise a stakeholder's privacy or reputation is treated with the utmost care and will not be disclosed without prior consent.

Article 13Contract as an extra

For extras, a specific contract is drawn up, detailing responsibilities, hours of presence on the set, remuneration and image rights. This contract also includes confidentiality and image rights clauses in compliance with current laws and regulations.

Article 14 – Right of withdrawal and availability

Contributors retain the right to withdraw their consent to the use of their image at any time. Consequently, any candidate who decides to apply his or her right of withdrawal will no longer be able to be included in recruitment lists, and will therefore no longer receive contractual offers. However, any candidate who decides to become available again will once again benefit from job offers. This system provides greater flexibility for all parties involved, in terms of profile management and freedom to work from the point of view of candidates.

Article 15 – RGPD and data deletion

Anyone applying for one of our online casting opportunities is given a Candidate space on www.remilede.eu. Once the space is active, a 24-month timer is triggered. After 24 months, all data relating to the candidate is deleted. Unless an extension is requested by the applicant. Data is encrypted, secure and anonymous, in compliance with current legislation.

Article 16 - Disclaimer and contact

This policy and these conditions aim to create a collaborative, respectful and professional working environment, where everyone can flourish and contribute to the success of our productions. Please note that our policies have recently been updated to reflect changes in our company and our commitment to our partners. We encourage you to consult them regularly to keep abreast of the latest changes. We also reserve the right to update our PCCP at any time without notice.
